일반적으로 교통위반 Ticket을 받으면 2-3주 이내에 Court에서 Court date 등이 적힌 Letter가 옵니다. 이때, 교통위반 내용에 따라서 Traffic School 허용 여부를 동시에 알려 주며, 만약 Traffic School이 허용을 하는 경우에는 Court Date 이전에 Traffic School을 이수하도록 명시하고 있습니다.
그런데 귀하의 경우와 같이 과거의 Ticket에 대한 Traffic School 허용 여부및 그 Time Limit에 대한 규정을 DMV및 Court의 Web 에서도 찾아보려고 하였으나 답을 찾지 못하였습니다.
죄송합니다만, 지난번 의 Ticket에 대한 관할 Court에 직접 문의해 보시기 바랍니다.

"Traffic School Information"
Approximately two to three weeks after receiving your traffic ticket, you may receive a courtesy notice from the court in the mail. This notice will tell you if you are eligible to attend traffic school and have your ticket dismissed.
Do not attend traffic school unless your courtesy notice tells you that you are eligible to attend.
When you receive your courtesy notice, if you are eligible, a list of traffic schools will be attached. You may go to the traffic school of your choice.
If you live in the County of San Diego:
View the San Diego Superior Court list of approved traffic schools
If you live outside the County of San Diego:
View the California Dept. of Motor Vehicles' list of traffic schools
After completion of the school, and before your appearance date, mail the following to the court:
Your completion certificate
Your check or money order for the administrative fee
Traffic school eligibility shall be determined by California Rule of Court 4.104(b)(1).
Traffic school ineligibility shall be determined by the following:
Ineligible offenses pursuant to California Rule of Court 4.104(b)(2).
Citation on which an alcohol or drug related violation is cited with a traffic school eligible offense.
Defendant is cited for a violation that can be dismissed with proof of corrrection.
