Service Officer (San Diego, CA):

Bank of Hope is currently seeking an Service Officer.

Description Position Purpose:

The Service Officer is responsible for providing assistance to the Service Manager for the efficient and effective functioning of a retail branch, with emphasis on customer service and soundness of the operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

 1. Ensure that branch projects a professional and neat appearance at all times.

 2. Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a satisfactory and timely manner.

 3. Ensure teamwork within the branch.

 4. Ensure that the branch operations staff members attend the operational and training meetings, as needed, such that staff is aware of regulatory compliance issues, policy and procedures, customer service, and all relevant information.

 5. Ensure the facilities and securities management of the branch are within policy and procedure guidelines.

 6. Perform periodic certifications of all branch operations related area including reconciliations of balances of GL and accounts.

Requirements Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience is preferred.

 2. Minimum five years of experience in banking and three years in a supervisory position is preferred.

 3. Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations is preferred.

 4. Detailed knowledge of banking regulations and laws; compliance documentation, and reporting requirements.
