The Opportunity 

We’re currently looking for a professional, outgoing and organized individual to join our team in the role of Hotel Sales Coordinator.

As a Hotel Sales Coordinator, you’ll be primarily responsible supporting our Sales Team and ensuring that they have the tools, supplies and resources that they need to deliver excellent service that sets us apart.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of a Hotel Sales Coordinator include:

  • Providing multi-line phone coverage
  • Responding to emails in a professional, timely manner
  • Communicating with Clients, building professional relationships
  • Creating and distributing department information as appropriate (Contracts, Banquet Event Orders, Catering information, etc.)
  • Checking quality of Catering events, Room setups
  • Distributing faxes and other communication to appropriate areas
  • Creating and organizing files and miscellaneous filing of files, papers, checks, electronic communication, etc.
  • Creating Sales kits and restocking supply area as appropriate
  • Controlling office supplies and ordering supplies when necessary
  • Coordinating maintenance of office equipment
  • Creating a Daily Event Sheet
  • Creating contracts, banquet event orders and correspondence
  • Taking care of door cards, reader boards, inputting Welcome cards
  • Processing mail
  • Setting up billing
  • Charging accounts
  • Pre-blocking Guest rooms for day's arrivals
  • Maximize revenue by selling all products of the Hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to all departments in the hotel to ensure high quality of service to customers
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • Professional and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude
  • Professional in all business dealings, both internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-profile, high-traffic environment
  • Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions and/or short correspondence and memos in English
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Suite
