“The Korean American Bar Association of San Diego (KABA-SD) and the Korean American Coalition of San Diego's (KAC-SD)  Inaugural Annual Dinner & Installation of Officers”

The Korean American Bar Association of San Diego* (KABA-SD) and the Korean American Coalition of San Diego* (KAC-SD) invite you to join us as we celebrate our inaugural Annual Dinner and Installation of Officers which will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008, at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park (2215 Pan American Road, San Diego, CA 92101).  The cocktail reception and registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner program begins at 7:00 p.m. 

Our inaugural black-tie optional celebration will be hosted by Lee Ann Kim, local news anchor at KGTV Channel 10 News and Executive Director of the San Diego Asian Film Festival.  To add to the atmosphere, there will be Korean-themed entertainment.

Our celebration will feature Angela E. Oh, a nationally-recognized attorney, community leader, and author, as the keynote speaker.

KABA-SD and KAC-SD will also present their first Mugunghwa Award to the Hon. Lucy H. Koh, who was appointed to the Santa Clara County bench this year.  She is the first Korean American judge in Santa Clara County, and the first Korean American female to be appointed to the bench in the Bay Area.
