“ASIA, the Journal of Culture & Commerce”에서 주최하는 The Asian Heritage Awards 는 매년 각계 각 분야에서 동양의 우수한 문화 와 긍지를 높인 인물 또는 단체들을 선정하여, 네티즌들의 인터넷 투표를 통해 수상자를 선정합니다.

2009년 Asian Heritage Award에는 커뮤니티 봉사,  교육, 예술, 비지니스등14개 분야에서 여러 한인 / 단체가 후보에 올랐습니다.

수지 킴(Bridge Int’l.) : 
Suji Kim builds bridges across cultures and communities with projects such as the Korean Festival and Korean Gala Dinner, showcasing culture and food, and launching the first Korean Food Week in San Diego in 2008. She also volunteers as vice president of development for the Pacific Rim Parks Project, which creates public parks in countries that are part of the Pacific Rim.

한미 인권연구소 (KAHIR)
Korean American Institute for Human Rights (KAHIR) has been committed to enhancing the awareness of the North Korean human rights issues and endeavored to bring positive changes on the North Korean famine front, in particular. In addition to hosting guest lectures and talks by professors, diplomats, and religious leaders, KAIHR has put in consistent efforts in raising funds to bring tangible impacts to the lives of the people affected by the famine and to help North Korean refugees.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Korean American Coalition of San Diego
Korean American Coalition of San Diego is a chapter of the nationwide civil rights and advocacy organization, founded in 1983, when the Rodney King riots destroyed many businesses in L.A.’s Korean community. The organization continues to be a major advocate for Korean American issues.

Korean American Bar Association of San Diego (KABA-SD)
Korean American Bar Association of San Diego (KABA-SD) was established to provide Korean American attorneys and law students in the greater San Diego area the opportunity to network and socialize with each other; it also offers legal, educational, political, charitable, and other services to the Korean American community and advances Korean Americans in the legal profession.

 1.           http://www.asianheritageawards.com/  에 가셔서, 화면 왼쪽에 있는 "QUICKVOTE" 배너를 클릭 하시면 투표 페이지로 이동합니다.

2.            First Name, Last Name, E-Mail 을 입력후 각 분야 후보 리스트에서, 1곳을 선택후 스팸 방지를 위한 이미지에 나와있는 글씨를 입력후  “VOTE NOW” 버턴을 누르시면 됩니다.

참고로 투표가 완료되려면,  모든 14개 분야에 1개씩은 꼭 선택하셔야 합니다. 참고하세요.
