My name is Ryan.  I am an English teacher with over 6 years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language -- in America , Japan, and China.  I am looking for students who would like to study for several consecutive months to improve their English fluency.  I also tutor international students enrolled in US universities.
 
My teaching emphasis is:
 
1.  Fluency:  My goal is to improve a student's speaking speed, rhythm, intonation, and confidence.
2.  Grammar:  My aim is to improve a student's speaking/writing accuracy for tests or in situational conversations.
3.  Vocabulary and Natural Expressions:  My focus is on building expertise in an area of interest --  for test preparation or for a future career.
 
My rates are as follows:
 
One student: $30 per hour per student (Lessons are typically 90 minutes ($45 per lesson); 3 times per week)
Two or more students:  $25 per hour per student (Typically 90 minute lessons ($60 per lesson shared); 3 times per week).
