These are what I like to learn.
Most of all, pronunciation & intonation: I want you to point out my mistakes while I’m reading materials like famous speeches sentence by sentence. For example, I don’t feel confident when I say words such as “gym or Jim?, whirl, world or word?, roads or loads, three free throws etc.” I hope you can help me to say it right.
Also, I’m thinking of using some scripts as studying material from American TV comedy or drama series. Personally, I’ve faithfully tune into each week’s episode of Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, and Glee. (Occasionally watching Grey’s Anatomy, The middle, and Gossip girl) It would be great to go over some phrases or idioms I didn’t grasp from current episodes. I can prepare the scripts.
