Human Resource Manager

 Small, growing company in National City is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing policies and programs for the entire company with employees currently working in San Diego, Washington State, Hawaii, Guam, and Japan. This individual must partner with executive management to help drive operational and organizational plans, and assists and advises senior management on Human Resources issues.

Responsibilities include:

 Ø Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources function (e.g., OSHA, EEO, AA, ERISA, Wage & Hour, Service Contract Act, etc.).

 Ø Directs the preparation of information requested or required for compliance.

 Ø Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans.

 Ø Provides strong guidance and analysis of benefit programs to include health insurance, 401K, etc. Ensures competitive benefits, cost effectiveness and service levels are maintained.

 Ø Establishes wage and salary structure, pay policies, performance appraisal programs, employee benefit programs (health insurance, 401K) and services, and company safety and health programs. Monitors for effectiveness and cost containments.

 Ø Analyzes and recommends organizational and process improvement plans.

 Requirements:

 Ø Minimum 5 Years Human Resources experience at the Senior Management level.

 Ø Four year degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or Business Administration and Leadership, Education, Training, Organizational Development.

 Ø Strong communication skills.

 Ø Strong background with compensation & benefits, organizational development, talent management, recruiting & staffing, employee/labor relations and leadership development.

 Ø Ability to effectively interact and communicate with multiple levels and disciplines.

 Ø Familiarity with employment and workplace safety laws and compliance requirements.

 Ø Proactive management style with excellent leadership abilities.
