Smartphone Software Test Engineers
The test engineer will perform various testing on Android OS based smart phones in quality management team. Engineer will follow the written test cases to verify all the functionalities of the devices and check if they are performing as designed. If test engineer finds any issue, he/she will generate a detail, analytical report to R&D. Testing areas include basic feature testing, network testing, performance testing, and automation testing. Tester will support and collaborate with other engineering teams and project managers to find solutions to the issues found.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Associate Degree in any engineering or degree in computer related discipline is desired
• Experience with basic Android OS features and various 3rd party Smartphone applications
• Experience with the Computer programming language (C, C++, or Java)
• Genuine interest in smart devices and willingness to learn and make improvements
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Effective communication in oral and written report and discussion with other engineers and project managers
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to follow written test cases and written procedures
