- Position title: QA Test Engineer

Location

- San Diego, CA

Job duties and Responsibilities

- Coordinate and execute various testing activities in order to verify and defects within Android software: functional testing, interoperability testing, performance testing, current/battery consumption testing, white & black-box testing, field testing, usability testing, spec-verification testing, issue reproductions, and/or etc.
- Utilize various testing tools and equipment in order to collect desired data for log analysis: QXDM, QCAT, DM, ADB, and/or etc.
- Evaluate software defects using bug tracking tool and assist development team members in implementation of resolution strategies
- Generate test reports to ensure rock solid software quality
- Communicate and cooperate with both QA & development team members to deliver effective technical testing solutions

Qualifications

- Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
- 0-2 years of experience in IT industry; software development, quality assurance, architect, system requirement, project management, or equivalent
- Strong troubleshooting and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to cooperate with other QA & Development team members
- Ability to work on multiple projects in fast-paces environment
- Self-motivated, logical, and detail-oriented personality
