A San Diego Biotech company is looking for a part-time full charge bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper plays a central and key role within the company's growing sales and operations. This position is primarily responsible for Accounts Payable & Receivable, Data Entry, Bank and 3rd party payment reconciliation. This is a part time position consisting of 24 - 30 hours per week. Schedule is very flexible and may increase with more duties since we are a start up.

Success in this position depends on eye for detail, superior organization and time management, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills. This individual takes ownership of the work requiring attention and is able to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. This position will be based in the main office of our location in Sorrento Valley. 

The successful Bookkeeper is someone who can:
- Use accounting and office software such as QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Be responsible for Accounts Payable & Receivable, Data Entry, Bank and 3rd party payment reconciliation.

- Ability to multitask, prioritizes, and works well under tight deadlines
- Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism and demonstrate confidence
- Skillful at promoting ideas, great organizational, and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft applications, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, QuickBooks
QuickBooks Full Charge bookkeeper for Small Bio-tech Company (PT) (Sorrento Valley)
Requirements:
- 10 years of bookkeeping AP/AR
- At least 2 years of month end close BS, P&L, journal entries etc.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent desirable
- 5+ recent years experience with QuickBooks
- Work in small to medium sized organizations preferred
