Really comfyCathyI bought this mattress topper for a sleeper sofa that is quite firm. It really helps make the bed much more comfortable. I have it rolled and stored in the underneath storage basket of the sofa and it works just great that way. It comes with a nice zip-off cover.5
Incorrect thickness sescriptionCarlosWeb description shows as 2 3/8 inches thick but it is only 1 1/2 inches thick which makes practically useless.2
durable and softBenjaminNice protection and extra cushion to my bed5
Very firm topper!JillIt's well constructed and very reasonably priced, but it IS very firm; as a result didn't find it to be that comfortable.3
got the firmer one Verified Buyerthis is a firmer topper - I like a firm bed- and firm topper- my back is happy my joints like the slightly less firm mattress- together they help me sleep much better 5
Great additionLaurieWe added this to the top of a harder mattress and it added just the right amount of support and cushion for our guest bed.5
What’s not to like?!MaryWe are sleeping quite well!5
Mine sure isn’t firm… incredibly squishy and cheap-feelingEricaConfused by the all the reviews saying how firm this is. Is it designed differently as of early 2024? I know it’s memory foam, but mine is so squishy that it leaves huge indents and gets all bent out of shape from sitting or lying on it for even a minute, the sides pop up around you, even my cat’s paws sink into it. Feels surprisingly cheap. I let it expand for days and from the very start, the sides curve so it won’t lie flat- seems the cover is just slightly too small to allow it to (no, I didn’t wash it, considering all the reviews saying it shrinks).
I had an ikea mattress pad before this that was already years old when I acquired it. Sure regret getting rid of it now, because that one was more firm, stable, and comfortable than this brand new one is. Maybe the more expensive ones are better, but I’ve also read they’re less firm, so I guess ikea no longer makes an equivalent? Pretty unhelpful that there is no official guide/chart to compare the firmness of the different toppers.1
OK, but very firmCharleneThis mattress pad feels OK, but is much firmer and less forgiving than other memory foam pads I have had. It is also a bit thinner, so even when it does soften up a bit from body heat, it doesn't give a whole lot of cushioning. It also has no straps to hold it onto the mattress, so every other day my husband and I have to adjust it. Overall, I wish I had spent a bit more and gone with a Tempur-Pedic or other topper that was a bit thicker. 3
Topper best for the price! We have two of them. They make your bed complete. PatrickWearing very well. Great product for the price. Would recommend the topper to complete the bed! I’m 5

Pair with HAUGESUND for the perfect night of sleep JodieWe bought the Haugesund mattress and decided to put the Tanager on top. This is in the guest bedroom. A couple of friends and family who have slept on it remarked about how comfortable the bed was. They also stated they had a restful night.
We will replace our mattress with this combination when it’s time. Very pleased 5
Sleep on a cloudLauraMy family members did not think that they needed this but boy did they thank me after a night! The topper provides just enough cushion to really increase the coziness factor. We have these at home and at the kids’ dorms. 5

Cover Shrink, Sleeping on the HillSavannahI purchased the mattress topper less than a year, approx. 8 months ago. The cover advertised as a washable cover, took the word and put it to wash, and guess what, it shrunk on the way out of the dryer. The foam is 5 inches bigger than the cover, trying all sorts of forces to squeeze in the foam but it does not fit like the way it came home. We have no choice but to tailor the foam to fit. This is definitely the quality issue. Does this have the same warranty as a mattress? Aside from it shrinking it also sags in the middle. I think memory foam beddings sold at Ikea are not suitable for sleeping with a partner. I feel like the dip in the middle makes me feel like I'm sleeping on the hill. I asked my husband to lay on the edge so I can get comfortable. Throughout the night I have to scoot myself toward the edge to seek comfort as well.1
nice additionRobertaneeded some extra cushioning for the newly purchased IKEA mattress. it certainly adds comfort. a bit warm. nice ticking and quality stitching. appreciate the cover is removable for washing.4
