Visual Arts High School Programs, such as Load Byng Mini-School or Langley Fine Art, enable students to acquire skills and knowledge for university visual art programs. And GAAC Portfolio Prep programs for Grades 6-7 help you to enter the visual arts specialty programs.
Portfolios provide a snapshot of your creative thinking skills and technical capabilities, and give insight into your interests and potential. This course gives students the opportunity to diversify and solidify not only their technical abilities, but also their creative thinking skills.
Learn the advanced architectural design concepts and develop essential skills in rendering and model-making by creating solutions to architectural challenges. The class will emphasize communicating concepts through creative solutions. Class activities include in-depth project critiques, review sessions from industry professionals, in-class sketching, and basic digital modelling.
Interested in fashion design? Elevate your design skills and jumpstart your personal brand through the New York Fashion Week program at Green Apple Art Center. Every year, our students receive special permission to participate in New York Fashion Week – not just as attendees, but as designers.

EMBODYING? Exhibition took place at Vancouver Convention Centre-East as a part of the 2024 Art Vancouver Exhibition. This is a collaborative interactive art exhibition done by 12 students, finding the definition of The Body through a various way of innovative experiments, offering a unique perspective.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards in the United States announced the winners of all the awards for the year 2024 on March 29. Congratulations to the students from GAAC who received awards this year, with a total of 71 winning entries, including 16 gold keys, 21 silver keys, and 34 honourable mentions.
Musicworks & GAAC Collaborate Camp: July 15-Aug 9 from 9:00AM-4:00PM
9:00AM-12:00PM: Elevate Your talents with fun music lessons in the morning. Students will master various instruments: Piano, Guitar, Violin, Ukulele, Vocal, and Drums. Experience hands-on learning where students don't just watch but actively play and create music.
1:30PM-4:00PM: The afternoon program takes students on creative spiritual art trails, exploring Vancouver's iconic landmarks while learning the insights into Canadian culture through drawing and painting. Inspired by their adventures, students will have the chance to craft their own unique ukuleles. Armed with newfound skills throughout the weekly program, they'll have the opportunity to culminate their journey by collaboratively crafting a dynamic interactive musical installation—a sensational blend of art, music, and technology that promises to captivate and inspire!
